Base editing-multiple object selection

One thing that prevents me from changing my base layout is how tedious the process is. My latest base is not what I'd like because it takes so much effort and time creating the layout. If there was a selection tool, like dragging an expanding box, that I could select multiple objects and shift them all at once, it would be a huge difference over deleting or moving individual pieces. Thanks for creating the best app game of all time.
