Farming Army setup

Look for a dead base, or a base with tons of graves and full mines, and since the mines are usually on the outside you will grab loot easily.

Army composition:

50% Barbarians

50% Archers

Place 5 barbarians and then 5 archers for each mine; the barbarians are shields while the archers pick off the mines. Won't cost much, does not need all your troops, quick training time!
