Been on COC since July '15. Currently TH12, 181 XP. In war, giving up less stars to the enemy is just as important as winning stars. So learning troop behavior and how to defend against various attack techniques really matters. Laying out the best base for your town hall level is a good investment of your time. I am a farmer and attack for resources most of the time. Since the December 2015 update, the old farming layout with the town hall outside is gone. My latest designs are to protect the town hall and resources. As a result, less stars given as a bonus. Enjoy!
