Purpose of this base is distraction of dragons, hogs and even top-mix with golems.
Golems will not stay at the same place near to the wall and go into the labyrinth, losing HP.
Hogs will have a prob too because of many places for gig.bombs on their route from tower to tower, which is most dangerous for them. Scout hog will not reach bombs easily.
