You can change things around a bit to have all defenses at the edge, however since I always prefer to have some Elixer stored away in Barracks I give a lower priority to the storage and prefer to have my air defense and mortar right in the middle to make them more difficult to take out. Good coverage for ground and air with over-lapping ranges for towers and cannons. The Town Hall is outside the walls as per usual for farming layouts however the clan castle is very near so best to keep that well stocked with higher level troops from your clan mates if possible.
